Elks Clubs invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
The Order is a non-political, non-sectarian and strictly American fraternity. Proposal for membership in the Order is only by invitation of a member in good standing. To be accepted as a member, one must be an American citizen, believe in God, be of good moral character and be at least 21 years old.
The VFW is a service group with a vision of ensuring that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country. The VFW strives to do good things for deserving people; particularly veterans, their families, and their communities.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization.
Fundraisers are conducted for eight major charities, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children’s fund, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund.
F.O.E. donates more than $100 million a year to local communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of monies raised in the form of grants.
Members are recruited by other members and must be sponsored by two members before the membership process begins.

Patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
Membership in the American Legion, the World’s Largest Veterans Service Organization, is open to any US Military veteran that served at least on day of Active Duty during one of the following periods:
- April 6, 1917 – Nov. 11, 1918
- Dec. 7, 1941 – Dec. 31, 1946
- June 25, 1950 – Jan. 31, 1955
- Feb. 28, 1961 – May 7, 1975
- Aug. 24, 1982 – July 31, 1984
- Dec. 20, 1989 – Jan. 31, 1990
- Aug. 2, 1990 until cessation of hostilities as determined by the US Government

The Lillian Davis Hogan Art Galleries at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, free and open to the public, present six to eight exhibitions per calendar year. Artwork by local, regional and international artists and artisans are frequently featured as are the talents of Saint Mary’s students and faculty.

Ready Set School (RSS) is a non-profit organization located in Winona County, Minnesota, working to provide underprivileged children the essential school supplies and clothing to be successful in the classroom.
Ready Set School is funded by public, private and business donations. The funds raised go directly to the families so they may decide whether to purchase supplies, clothing, or a combination of both. Funds are spent just like cash at selected local retailers, keeping those funds in our community.
School supplies or cash donations can be dropped off at any Winona National Bank location.
