The Peer Support Network is a drop in center, or a club house where adults with various mental illnesses can come to get support from peers, staff, and volunteers. The PSN is a unique and exciting place to play card games, shoot some pool, play on the Wii, partake in various art classes, and even cook! We offer a wide variety of activities and support groups for our clients. Our goal at PSN is to create an environment where clients can enjoy themselves and spend time with the people they care about.

Check the calendar under ‘Faculty’ tab on website for a list of hours when faculty members and volunteers are expected to be present at the Peer Support Network.

PSN provides a comfortable space for people experiencing mental health issues to socialize and support one another. It is a place that promotes recovery and growth. It provides a safe and inclusive environment where people can relax, make friends, and participate in groups in the evening or weekends, when clinical mental health services are typically unavailable. A Certified Peer Support Specialist is available on site to help coordinate services and activities.

Volunteer:

Volunteers are valued participants in this program. The comfortable and informal setting is mentored by adult consumers who have had training in assisting participants as needed. Staff, community volunteers and college interns are an ongoing part of the PSN community. Advocates for people with mental illness and local legislators will make scheduled visits to talk with consumers about their issues and concerns. PSN is the place to go to engage with and learn from adults in our communities living with a mental illness.
