Baby Connections offers information, support and access to community resources to families with infants in Winona County. Their goal is to help parents feel good about raising a baby and to connect them to people and places that will help them learn and enjoy parenting in their baby’s first year.
Baby Connections offers home visits to any family in Winona County with an infant up to one year old. Visits are free. At a visit a Baby Connector welcomes parents’ questions and listens to concerns; shares information about what babies need to thrive; and lets parents know about activities and community resources for families with babies. Topics that often come up include sleep, feeding, sibling adjustment, postpartum realities, and brain development. Families report that our visits are helpful and reassuring. They also give out baby slings and teach parents how to use them.
