Time commitment is about 6 hours for a full shift; age requirement 18 or older; shifts generally require standing/walking, and some set-up/take-down shifts require more strenuous lifting/bending/moving around.

Boats and Bluegrass is a family-friendly music and camping festival on the shores of the Mississippi River in Winona, Minnesota. Volunteers help out in shifts from 9/20/2022-9/25/2022 in a variety of areas including set-up and take-down, the Saloon bar, tickets and welcoming, selling merchandise, and greeting patrons. Habitat for Humanity is looking for help with their new build on Broadway Street in Winona. They are looking for 8-10 volunteers! If interested, contact Dave at (507) 452-7794
Annual Campaign Street Team members will assist with the planning and coordination of four events from April 22nd-May 22nd. Volunteers will undergo a specific fundraising training and learn how to strategically spread the word about the WOC within the community.
We request a commitment of 5-10 hours per month from mid-late February until late May depending on tasks assigned, must be 16 years or older, may require frequent bending, standing, or walking for long periods of time, and lifting/transporting recreational equipment up to 25lbs.
Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health services to children, families and adults in Winona, Houston, Fillmore, Wabasha and Goodhue Counties is looking for volunteers to help with small, outside, painting projects at The Board and Lodge homes and yard workers at our Board and Lodge homes and the Winona Clinic location. Yard work includes; weed pulling, bush trimming, trash pickup and mowing the lawn.

Winona Chore Corps is a program under the Winona Friendship Center that provides older adults in the city of Winona and Goodview with services to ensure they are able to remain living safely in their own home.
The Chore Corps is in search of individuals who are interested in providing a variety of services including snow shoveling and snow blowing in the winter, lawn care in the summer, and a variety of other chore services year round. Equipment is provided by the Chore Corps or the client and includes lawn mowers, snow shovels, snow blowers, and more. The Chore Corps works to support the independence of older adults, build community, and provide valuable and meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Must be 18 to operate motorized equipment. Walking, pushing, and lifting may be required. Volunteers need to pass basic background check.
Weekly – 20- 30 hrs
The Pickwick Mill Inc. (on National Registry of Historic Sites) is open May-Oct, Tues-Sun, noon – 5 p.m. Volunteer time can be flexible with a minimum of 5 hrs/day. You must be able to walk stairs and calculate change. Very unique opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Unique history experience to see the original equipment in the museum.
The Winona County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention is a group that works on preventing teen substance abuse by hosting various awareness campaigns and events.
Volunteers often help plan or facilitate activities throughout the community based on their individual strengths and interests. Students and adults are able to help, must be middle school or older. Visit our website and “Events” tab to see common activities – http://www.winonacountyasap.org.

There are variety of volunteer opportunities for every interest & ability level, Trinona Weekend volunteer shifts are available on June 10th, 11th & 12th, 2022. Including, but not limited to set-up, packet pick-up, course safety, directing athletes and clean-up.
