The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts exists to provide quality arts education and performance by nurturing and encouraging artistic expression in children and adults. Their service to the community ranges from recreational to pre-professional dance and performing arts curriculum and programming designed to provide physical and aesthetic benefits, heightened self-respect, discipline, and confidence.
Committed to the development and production of high-quality programs in the performing arts, particularly those that address important contemporary or historical issues. It is their aim to integrate artistic excellence and originality with a sense of community in the Winona area and beyond.
The Minnesota Beethoven Festival depends on volunteers to help staff concerts including box office staff and ushers. Volunteers receive reserved seating for the concerts with which they help.

The goal of the Performance Center at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is to be Southeastern Minnesota’s premier performing arts center, bringing artists and community together through imaginative programming, unique collaborations, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service. The Performance Center strives to be the venue through which artists and community connect, where audiences can experience a variety of cultures through quality performances of music, theatre and dance, and discover the relevance of the arts in their daily lives.
Each year, over 23,000 people attend events at Saint Mary’s Performance Center. Volunteers play a critical role
in helping bring performing arts and educational events to the Winona community!
Hand out programs, take tickets, and assist patrons. When you usher for an event, you attend for free! Events that require ushers occur between September and April. Ushering availability can be found online at http://www.pagetheatre.org by clicking on “About Us” and then “Get Involved”. Must be capable of standing for longer periods of time and be able to navigate stairs easily.
Put up posters or drop off materials at locations around town—this can even be done while running errands! Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to walk for a longer period of time.
