Winona has been selected to participate in the Blandin Community Leadership Program (BCLP) this fall!
BCLP seeks emerging or established community leaders who are (or want to be) actively involved in community life, credible and open-minded, open to risk-taking, passionate about their community’s future, and willing to work collaboratively to promote healthy community.
The purpose of this program is to build leadership capacity, as well as help rural leaders develop and enhance the skills, knowledge and relationships they need to build and sustain healthy communities – ones that thrive in times of challenge and opportunity. Leaders come together to find common ground so they can address their community’s issues and opportunities.
24 individuals from the Winona area will be hand selected to represent the community. BCLP is a 3 part program. The leadership retreat is scheduled for November 4-8 of this year, followed by 2 workshops that will be held February 4-5 and April 29 of the following year.
More information about the program can be found through their online brochure: http://bclp.blandinfoundation.
