Toys for Kids

November 13, 2015 By Janneke Leave a Comment

Toys for Kids is collecting new unwrapped toys in barrels all over town. You are invited to give generously to help make a child’s holiday a little happier.

If you would prefer to make a financial donation to Toys for Kids you can do so by sending it to Toys for Kids – Winona Community Foundation, 51 E 4th St. Suite 314, Winona, MN 55987. Money received is used to purchase toys from area retailers. All toys, donated or purchased, stay in the Winona Area.

Families needing toys for their children (ages infant to 16) may visit the Toy Store on Saturday December 12th from 9am – 1pm located at the Tandeski Center (off Bundy Blvd and Storrs Pond Road).

For the parents visiting the Toy Store, parent will need a Photo ID with current address or if you do not have your current address on your ID you will need a Photo ID/ Non photo ID AND a utility bill or rent agreement with your current address on it.

Parents also need to bring some kind of identification for each of their children they are shopping for like their Social Security  Card,  School Report Card or Birth Certificate.
