Introduction
All bicyclists, regardless of age, can help protect themselves and lower their risk of injury by wearing a bicycle helmet every time they ride. By following the rules of the road and with effective education and intervention we can help reduce injuries and fatalities to bicyclists.

Program Content
The Youth Bicycle Safety program provides information and education to youth regarding bicycle safety by addressing:
Upon completion of the program each child will receive a certificate and sign a pledge committing to wear a helmet during all bicycle operations. They will also agree to be an advocate, encouraging family members and friends of all ages to wear their helmets. If your child does not own a bicycle helmet, have them take this class to receive a complimentary brand new helmet, compliments of Winona Law Enforcement.
