Life shifts after a profound loss, and healing takes time.
Here is a retreat that offers holistic healing practices for the body, mind and spirit to use on your grief journey. You will have the opportunity to share your grief with others in a safe, confidential, caring environment, as well as time for quiet self-reflection discovering skills to move forward.
What to expect:
Centering Breath & Guided Imagery – Learn to calm your central nervous system and direct your thoughts toward a healing image.
Yoga & Balance – Practice some simple yoga poses, taught by a yoga instructor, which calm your mind and help you find balance.
Writing as a Healing Tool – Gather ideas on how to begin a journaling practice which aids self-discovery and healing.
Creative Expression – Have fun creating a collage which represents healing.
Ritual – The day will begin with a healing ritual to honor your loved one and end with a ritual to bring hope.
Talking Cirlces – After each activity, there will be group time for sharing and compassionate listening.
