The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) provides assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking who are seeking protection orders and other legal assistance, social services, health care or housing. WRC provides support groups for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, and offer education about these topics for the school district, the local universities, and the private sector.
The WRC also engages in activism for more effective policies concerning violence against women and children, and to help the community talk about how to respond to and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.
There are a number of ways that you can help support the mission as a volunteer. All volunteers are asked to complete a volunteer application form and go through a screening process.
